Phew, the dog days of summer are here! With the mercury rising, we figured now would be a good time to remind you of our water parks. Six resorts across the U.S. and Canada are geared up and ready to go with aquatic fun.
While our water parks are exciting, we want to remind you to enjoy them safely. Before your trip, check with the resort to see which amenities are open and which rules may be in place. And if you are spending time in the sun, be sure to take precautions against sunburn.
With that said, have a blast at our water parks and enjoy your summer!
Sarasota, Florida
Recognized among the world's best RV resorts, Sun Outdoors Sarasota is great for kids and adults. The outdoor Olympic-size pool is heated and offers plenty of space to swim. It even has a splash pad and high-speed mega waterslide. During the summer, our kids camp takes full advantage of the aquatic fun.
Adults are welcome to the outdoor water park but may also enjoy the indoor fitness pool. Part of the stunning fitness center, the indoor lap pool is ideal for exercise and classes. There are even aquatic bicycles and treadmills for innovative fitness! Those looking to improve their health must check it out.
Santa Claus, Indiana
Christmas in July? That's the case at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph! You can take a trip to the North Pole at our family resort in Santa Claus, Indiana. Except this North Pole has warm temperatures and Santa's SplashDown WaterPark.
With multiple slides, a water playground, and a splash pad, Santa's SplashDown is fun for all. There is also space to swim in Blitzen Bay family pool, which features a comfortable sundeck alongside it. And for little ones, the Baby Blitzen kiddie pool is a great spot for learning to swim.
Looking for more water fun? Head next door to Holiday World, which features water coasters, slides, and more in the Splashin' Safari water park.
Ponchatoula, Louisiana
Down in the Deep South is Sun Outdoors New Orleans North Shore. With one of the best water parks around, Reunion Lake keeps you cool on hot summer days.
During your stay, relax in the Lazy River, floating along the winding waters. After a gentle trip, stop by the swim-up tiki bar in the lazy river for a refreshing drink. Or adults can pop over to the adult pool with its own tiki bar. There are also poolside cabanas available to rent that include luxury extras like TVs, ceiling fans, and personal guest service.
Don't worry, though, kids have plenty of water attractions as well. The family swimming pool has great views of the lake and fun water features. There's also a giant hot tub that's open year-round to relax and unwind.
Berlin, Maryland
On the edge of the Sinepuxent Bay is Sun Outdoors Frontier Town. Here, you'll find a hub of family fun. Three intense waterslides offer varying thrills for those seeking a challenge. Back on the ground, the Waterin' Hole wading pool and splash pad have soaking water features for all-age fun.
If a slower pace is more your style, Frontier Town can do that too. Take a ride on the Lazy River and enjoy the sunshine. Afterward, stop by the Poolside Bar & Grill and enjoy a frozen beverage. Frontier Town is full of fun for every age.
Greenfield Park, New York
Camping in the Catskill Mountains is already great. But throw in a water park and the experience is even better. Jellystone Park™ at Birchwood Acres does exactly that with Yogi Bear's™ Water Zone.
Slip and slide with a splash into the pool on either of the two water slides. Or head up the playground and enjoy a water fight with the giant water cannons. Watch out, though. Every few minutes, all those around will be doused by the giant tipping water tower - the ultimate super soaker!
Adults can comfortably lounge around the pool and observe from afar. While the pool is great for swimming laps, it's also equipped with water basketball nets. Get a group together and host a game of hoops.
Sherkston, Ontario
Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores may be on the shores of Lake Erie, but its aquatic fun doesn't stop there. High-speed thrills await on the Mach3 Super Slides in the water park. And real daredevils can take on the Urban Slide, a 1,000-foot drop to the pool below.
Two heated pools anchor the park below, along with a dedicated kiddie pool. The young ones can also enjoy the splash pad, which has numerous features. Comfortable poolside loungers sit nearby, allowing parents to keep a watchful eye while they relax. After all the excitement, spend a few minutes in the bubbling hot tub to unwind.
If you're looking to splash your way to fun, our water parks are the place to be. Just remember to check with your resort about which amenities are open. Once you have the all clear, go ahead and book your stay with Sun Outdoors.
