Deep in the Rocky Mountains, a magical realm awaits you at the

Old England at the Colorado Renaissance Festival
At the Colorado Renaissance Festival, hundreds of bedecked lads and lasses stroll through an arcane atmosphere. This step back in time returns you to the Renaissance Era, when the day's entertainment was a jousting match and dinner was a hearty spread of English country fare.
As you stroll through the village streets of the Colorado Renaissance Festival, you'll catch the aromas of roasted turkey legs, succulent sausages, and fresh baked bread. Numerous food stalls operate throughout the event, so be sure to come hungry.
Along with indulging in food, you can enjoy many musical acts and comedic events. Jesters and Celtic bands often sing in the streets, while some of the acts include sword swallowing, falconry, and short plays.
Of course, we can't talk about the Colorado Renaissance Festival without mentioning jousting! Three jousting competitions take place daily, with viewers gathering to watch in the grandstands. Other high-thrill activities include acrobatics, fire breathing, and juggling, so you'll always have something to watch.
The Colorado Renaissance Festival is an annual event, held every summer. Typically, the festival is open for eight weekends (Sat-Sun) in June and July. Note that in 2021, the festival is running between July 3 and August 22 for late summer entertainment.
