History buffs are also in for a treat. Fort Ticonderoga is situated about an hour north of Adirondack Gateway. Take a trip back in time to the 18^th century while watching reenactments and learning more about the past.

In Saratoga Springs, you'll find art and culture, fantastic shopping and dining, a thriving night life and entertainment scene, and of course, Thoroughbred horse racing.

Looking for activities in nature? You'll find it at Saratoga Spa State Park, home to gentle streams, green golf courses, and walking trails. For a more adventurous hike, trek through four miles of forest to reach the summit of Prospect Mountain.
