Rather than hosting a crowded, in-person event, Macy's is pre-filming the parade, using vehicles on the ground to guide the iconic balloons. The performances, floats, and balloons will still be there, but viewers will tune in to the parade on NBC, rather than gathering on the sidewalks.

The virtual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC on Thursday, November 26 from 9 a.m.-noon in all time zones.

Tune Into a Football Game from Home

One of the best virtual activities for Thanksgiving Day is to tune into a football game. There's no need to fight crowds and traffic to attend a game in the stadium. Instead, enjoy a delicious meal and watch the game from the comfort of your couch.
