Snorkel with the Manatees of Crystal River

Get away to the Gulf Coast at Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort! Our family-friendly Florida destination is packed with fun and nestled near the scenic Crystal River. Fantastic activities await you in the region, including viewing manatees, scalloping, and visiting nature preserves.

What to See in Crystal River

Three Sisters Springs

A wildlife refuge with crystal clear water, Three Sisters Springs is a stunning spot to snorkel and hike. As you delve beneath the water's surface, keep your eyes open to glimpse manatees and other aquatic wildlife. These gentle giants happily take refuge in the area's warm waters.

Three Sisters Springs has 1.5 miles of nature trails that afford views of Magnolia Springs, Kings Bay, and Lake Crystal. The scenic sights create a perfect vista for your next social media post, especially if you can capture wildlife too. Cars aren't allowed, but there is a trolley tour that can carry you from the visitor center to the boardwalk.

River Ventures Manatee Tour Center

You can experience another aquatic adventure at River Ventures Manatee Tour Center. This award-winning tour company offers an array of options with something for everyone.

For example, you can head with the group to King's Bay Wildlife Refuge. Here, you can dive in with the manatees or paddle above them on a kayak, stopping for a swim if you so desire. And if you prefer more creature comforts, take a private cruise with the manatees on a heated pontoon or houseboat.

Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort

Tucked away in green Florida groves, Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort is the premier RV destination in Crystal River, Florida. Here, you'll discover a natural, relaxing feel that's reminiscent of being at a state park.

Take the family and play a game of shuffleboard or horseshoes in the shade of stately trees. Or let the kids run free on the playground, where they can get their energy out before cooling off in the screened-in swimming pool. There's even a fenced-in dog run for you to take your four-legged companion.

Activities are always in session and our 3,000 square-foot clubhouse is home to all the happenings. Learn a new hobby with painting and jewelry making classes. Or join one of the clubs for passions like books, sewing, and more. Socializing is the name of the game at Rock Crusher Canyon, and you'll find plenty of events where you can meet your neighbors.

Additionally, Crystal River was named one of the top small towns in America by Travel Channel. If that's not a ringing endorsement, we don't know what is.
