Shop at Flea Markets in Zephyrhills Area

Several flea markets are an easy drive from Waters Edge RV Resort. If you've been to such places, you know the fun of this type of shopping lies in the element of mystery. You never know what you'll come across that will tickle your fancy or absolutely put you in orbit. I remember how thrilled I was years ago, when I found some Currier and Ives glasses for a quarter a piece at a bazaar. Here are some area markets to explore.

Big Top Flea Market

Only 15 miles from Zephyrhills, Big Top Flea Market has 1,500 booths of a huge assortment of merchandise. In addition to antiques and collectibles, the market carries electronics, sporting goods, pets and unique furnishings. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The address is 9250 E Fowler Avenue in Thonotosassa.

Plant City Farm and Flea Market

Called the Country Village Flea Market, the Plant City Market is approximately 17 miles from Zephyrhills. Its 100 fruit and vegetable vendors make it one of the largest famers' markets in the South. While the flea market is only open on Wednesday, the farmers' market is open every day. Most of the vendors arrive at 7 a.m., and they leave between noon and 5 p.m. The address is 708 W. Sam Allen Rd. in Plant City.
