Now you have one more reason to visit Utah when you stay at Sun Outdoors North Moab, our fifth resort in the state, and the fourth in Moab, home to two of The Mighty 5® National Parks. Since acquiring North Moab, we've made some improvements with plans for more renovations to make your stay even better.

Accommodations and Amenities

Enjoy more than ten acres of grounds in the Utah desert when you stay at Sun Outdoors North Moab. Spacious RV sites come with a range of conveniences, including full hookups, a picnic table, BBQ grill, plus cable TV and WiFi. We also offer covered tent sites that provide relief from the elements. And for those looking to stay indoors, North Moab offers one-room rustic cabins that can accommodate up to four guests. Each rental unit includes limited furnishings, WiFi service, heat and air conditioning, a picnic table and a BBQ grill. In addition to the convenient accommodations, you can also enjoy a selection of family-friendly amenities:

• Laundry facilities ($)

Since we've acquired Sun Outdoors North Moab, we have renovated the front office building. That includes the attached bathhouse and the laundry facility, which has been fitted with brand new washers and dryers. We have also remodeled the large bathhouse, making it ADA accessible with on-demand water heaters for the showers.

Extra Improvements Coming Soon

In addition to the completed upgrades, even more are in the works to enhance your experience at North Moab. By the end of 2020, we plan to improve our RV and tent sites by connecting to city water and sewer, as well as upgrading the electric service to all sites. Other new additions planned for the upcoming year include:

• Park model rentals
• Hot tub
• Swimming pool deck
• Playground
• Dog park
• Communal fire pit

There are additional improvements that will be completed within the next year as well:

• Renovate small bathhouse
• Professional landscaping

Moab Area Attractions

When you choose to stay at Sun Outdoors North Moab, you can enjoy the best of downtown Moab, located within walking, biking, and driving distance from our campground. If you take the main highway (UT-191) that goes through downtown, you'll find Lions Park. This charming spot on the Colorado River marks the trailhead for the Moab Canyon Pathway. The paved bike path connects cyclists to Arches National Park and Moab Giants, a popular dinosaur attraction. There are many more exciting attractions that can be found around Moab.
