Musical Instruments Museum

A visit to the Musical Instruments Museum is like a cultural tour around the world. As you move along the exhibits featuring different countries and different continents, you'll be able to see the vast array of instruments found in each area and hear them played by the natives. The depository even has a designated room where you can play some of the instruments. In addition, it houses displays devoted to music icons such as Elvis, John Lennon, and Johnny Cash.

Heard Museum

Providing a tribute to the Native Americans of the Southwest, the Heard Museum showcases art and historical pieces that portray the culture. Twelve exhibition galleries can be observed individually or as part of a free guided tour. These exhibits extend outside to a sculpture garden and the American Indian Veterans National Memorial, a monument to American Indians who have served in our nation's military. Take time to contemplate and reflect at the on-site café and be sure to pick up a memento of your visit at the gift and bookshop.
