The center of activity is, of course, Sun Retreats Flamborough, our resorts namesake. Fed by artesian wells, this 14-acre aquatic retreat is very popular on warm summer days. Closer to Hamilton, you can explore the outdoors at Tew and Webster Falls. Both popular attractions often require reservations, but offer outstanding hiking trails with waterfall views. You might also want to visit Dundurn Castle, a neoclassical mansion, then take a walk through the floral English landscapes of the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Head to Hamilton for more family-friendly fun at Wild Waterworks, a sprawling waterpark along Lake Ontario. Or visit Toronto to stroll through Old Toronto and hang out on Centre Island.
