Hit the Splash Pad

Not one, not two, but nine unique water features make up our splash pad. Whether you're a parent or child, the splash pad is good fun. Plus, it's a great way to cool off on hot summer days.

Build Sandcastles on the Beach

One of the best features of Castaways is our private beach on the Sinepuxent Bay. Warm coastal waters roll in as gentle waves, making for great swimming conditions.

You can also stay entertained on the sand. A family favorite is to build sandcastles on the beach. You can collaborate for a mega castle complex, or compete with one another to build the biggest, best sandcastle.

Climb and Slide on the Playground

A quintessential kid experience can be found on the playground. Swinging, sliding, and climbing are just the beginning. The real fun comes in the games that kids create with each other. There's no doubt that the classic playground is still a place for kids camping fun!

Take a Dip in the Pool

Warm weather? Hit the pool! Friendly for both adults and kids, this is a cool spot to relax or exercise. The pool is also great for teaching little ones to swim before introducing them to the ocean.

Rent a Kayak or Paddleboard

The Atlantic Ocean is yours to explore at Castaways. There's no need to worry about bringing watercraft when you can rent right at the resort. You can pick up a paddle board or kayak and hit the water with ease.

Adults can also rent pontoons and jet skis. While these require some know-how to operate, they can be great family fun!

Head to the Basketball Courts

Kids camping at Castaways is better with a group, that's a fact. But if you don't have a group, you can try a one-on-one game of basketball on our well-marked courts. Or, gather your own group by asking your neighbors. With our friendly guests, it's not hard to find new friends for a game!

Grab an Ice Cream at the Café

Kids love a sweet treat on a summer day. Wait, did we say kids? We meant everyone!

The Sweet Spot is our onsite café serving delicious, hand-dipped ice cream. Lots of flavors and styles are available. But if one doesn't strike your fancy, check out the candy collection. And if you're an adult looking for a pick-me-up, try a specialty coffee for a caffeine boost.

Visit the Game Room on Rainy Days

Don't let the rain get you down. The game room is in store for just such occasions. Kids can fill their pockets with quarters and head to the indoor arcade where classic games abound. This can also be great fun for adults who enjoy the nostalgia.
