The park offers a system of hiking trails, and when the park has enough snow visitors can partake in cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. After your expedition, have a picnic lunch in this rustic setting, or grab a bite to eat in one of the two restaurants.

Palm Springs Air Museum

One of the top aviation depositories in the country, the Palm Springs Air Museum contains 59 planes, including some from WWII and the Korean/Vietnam Wars. The eras come to life through intriguing stories told by engaging volunteers, many of whom were formerly in the military. For an incredible experience, visitors can ride in a classic warbird such as a C-47 Skytrain or a P-51D Mustang!
