Desert beauty and starry skies await you at Lost Dutchman State Park. This rustic paradise is home to several hiking trails, open from sunrise to 10 p.m. daily. The distance also varies from a quarter of a mile to several miles long.
If you prefer not to hike an entire trail, you can venture out at sunset to see the colors welcome dusk. Summer temperatures are often higher than 100 °F, so be prepared. Make sure you have plenty of water; we recommend a gallon per individual. It's better to be safe than sorry!
A dinner and show theater, Barleen's Arizona Opry offers a variety of entertainment. Some of the shows include Elvis hits, jukebox classics, country songs, and rock ‘n roll oldies. The season begins in November and shows continue through April.
While visiting, dive into a dinner of roast beef or tender chicken with all the fixings. Excellent live music paired with great food guarantees an enjoyable evening.
