Congratulations to Our "Vacation Under the Stars 2016 Getaway" Winner!

Please join us in congratulating Heather Van Lieshout, the lucky winner of our Vacation Under the Stars 2016 Getaway! She filled out her winning raffle ticket at the Sun RV Resorts booth at the 2016 WBAY RV & Camping Expo in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was her first trade show experience and Heather said that her and her husband, Sam, were there to get more information on different campgrounds they could visit and explore. She said they gravitated toward booths that had smiling faces and we're so glad that she decided to stop by and visit us that day!

"We enjoy camping and the outdoors," said Heather. "We like traveling to new campgrounds as often as we can in the summer and fall."

The couple owns a pop-up camper and prefer a more traditional camping experience at the moment, spending most of the time in their home state of Wisconsin. The furthest they have traveled so far was on their honeymoon last June to Pictured Rocks, located off the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Heather and Sam have chosen to spend their free one-week Sun RV Resorts vacation at Westward Ho in the lush countryside of Glenbeulah, Wisconsin! It will be their first experience at a Sun RV resort and we can't wait to hear how they enjoyed all of the fabulous amenities and local attractions that make this area such a popular vacation destination.

"That area is just beautiful and is close to a state park," Heather commented, referring to the Sheboygan Marsh State Wildlife Area and the Kettle Moraine State Forest, both located within 30 miles of the resort. In addition to the four RV sites that will accommodate the couple, plus any family and friends they bring, Heather also received a custom camping kit, travel expenses, spending money, free access to all on-site amenities, and dinner out on us one evening.

Some wish list amenities preferences that the couple look for when choosing a campground include pet-friendly sites so they can bring their two dogs, spacious campground accommodations, and on-site dining spots. Westward Ho is a very fitting choice because the resort offers all of these amenities, plus three heated swimming pools, a miniature golf course, on-site petting zoo, the Music Hall where adults can unwind after a fun-filled day of activities, and much more.
