Wide desert ranges, stunning rock formations, excellent off-roading opportunities, and plenty of hiking. These are just a few attractions in Utah's adventure capital, Moab. But with Moab becoming a star destination, it can be tough to know where to stay. We have the answer, and it's Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown.
Here's why Canyonlands is the best place to stay in Moab.
Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown has a variety of ways to stay. Foremost are comfortable RV sites with full hookups. These sites sit on concrete or gravel and feature picnic tables and cable television, but no fire pits. If you're staying for a long-term outing, there are also monthly options available to meet your needs.
For more outdoorsy campers, tent campsites provide a way to sleep under the stars. Each of these spacious sites features a water tap and electric outlets. Plus, every tent site includes a fire ring, grill top, and picnic table with a pavilion for shade.
Don't want to haul gear? Our rustic camping cabins each feature two sets of twin-over-full size bunk beds to accommodate six guests. Heat, air conditioning and cable television are all included, but you'll need to bring linens or sleeping bags. Outside is a screened-in porch with chairs, plus a picnic table and fire pit. There are also cable available with wheelchair-friendly ramps.
Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown has plenty of amenities, including resort-wide Sun WiFi to keep you connected. Perhaps best of all, though, is our on-site gas station, allowing you to skip the peak season lines around town. Less time spent on the little tasks means more time exploring!
Some of our other amenities include:
There's no shortage of adventure in Moab. One of the finest is our campground's namesake destination, Canyonlands National Park. Four districts of rock and river make up this gorgeous desert landscape. Activities include four-wheel drive tours, hiking, climbing, boating, and stargazing.
Of course, we can't leave out Arches National Park. Just as stunning as its nearby cousin, Arches is known for its natural stone arches. Along with those, the park has plenty of trails to hike. You can also enjoy mountain biking, horseback riding, canyoneering, and more.
Moab's adventurous spirit is shown in the various ways to enjoy the landscape. Skydiving and hot air balloons both offer aerial views, with either thrills or serenity. Or, head out on a raft and take on the mighty Colorado River. No matter your choice, there's fun to be found in Moab!
If red rock excitement and comfortable camping are what you seek, it's time to visit Sun Outdoors Moab Downtown. You can call (877) 415-3991 to make reservations, or easily book online.
