Splish and splash at Summer Camp in Sarasota

School is winding down and summer is gearing up! It's that time of year when kids rejoice and parents are scrambling to keep everyone entertained. Give yourself some peace of mind and give your kids the time of their lives during summer camp at Sun Outdoors Sarasota!

This annual summer camp program is held at Sun Outdoors Sarasota in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. All summer long, your kids can enjoy endless activities guaranteed to keep youngsters entertained and engaged. Campers enjoy exciting water and sports activities, as well as educational games and team building exercises to promote collaboration. Plus, special guest speakers teach valuable life skills.

Outdoor Activities

Pool time is a central part of our summer program at Sun Outdoors Sarasota. A fan favorite is swimming and playing games in the Olympic size pool. But of course, everyone loves the Mega Slide and the challenging Wibit Water Obstacle Course!

Sports are also a big part of camp with outdoor recreations. Campers enjoy basketball, pickleball, tennis, soccer, miniature golf, disc golf, gagaball, and more. Plus, frequent nature walks get your kids out in the fresh Sarasota sea air.

Indoor Activities

Indoor activities include creative arts and crafts, board games, communication games, guest speakers, and more. Plus, our guest speakers usually correspond with one of our weekly themes. Maybe it'll be a Disney weekend. Or perhaps a throwback weekend. No matter what, you'll have fun!

One of our most-loved collaborations is with the Sarasota Police Department K-9 Unit. This talented team puts on a presentation during Animal Encounter Week that's always a hit.

Camp Schedule

Summer camp at Sun Outdoors Sarasota is open each summer, beginning at the end of May or early June. The program runs through mid-August, just before school starts again.

Monday through Friday, camp begins bright and early at 7:30 a.m. with quiet time. At 9 a.m., a jam-packed schedule of fun-filled activities begins, lasting until 4 p.m. Kids are welcome to stay until 5:30 p.m., giving parents more time for pick-up.

Healthy snacks are offered in the morning and afternoon, and lunch is included, with a new menu every day. Kids 6 and older or who have completed kindergarten are welcome, up to kids who are 13 or who have completed eighth grade. To ensure maximum fun, campers are placed in age groups with kids close to their age.
