40th Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival 2018

This August, hit the streets of downtown Port Colborne, Ontario to celebrate the 40^th Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival!

The four-day festival takes place from August 3-6 along the Welland Canal. Here, you'll discover a packed lineup of entertainment, including musical performances at H.H Knoll Park, vendors lining West Street, and fun activities for all ages.

Things to Do During the 40th Canal Days Festival

1. H.H. Knoll Park Entertainment

Be sure to check out amazing performers on the shores of the Sugarloaf Marina. This year's lineup includes the following:

2. Taste of Canal Days

Enjoy the many food vendors along West Street and the downtown core. From Friday to Monday, there will be many vendors serving up great food, desserts, and drinks.

3. Townsend's Amusements and Vale Kids' Zone

The 40^th Canal Days Festival features plenty of activities for children. These include Fairy Faces Face Painting, Zooniversity, Pony Paradise, coloring, inflatables, fun rides, and more. No matter what, the kids are in for an exciting weekend!

4. Fireworks Display

Don't miss out on some spectacular fireworks during this year's Marine Heritage Festival! On Sunday, the display will begin at approximately 10 p.m. over the canal. We recommend you find spots along West Street for the best viewing experience.

5. NAPA's 25^th Annual Classic Car Show

Car enthusiasts can join the fun as this year's car show takes place at a new, bigger location at Killaly Street West and Westside Road. The car show stretches from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, so plan your schedule accordingly.  

Additionally, you can enjoy many other fun events throughout the 40^th Canal Days weekend. Some other options include the Canal Days Golf Challenge, the Indoor Craft Show at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre, the Roselawn Concert Series, and the Scotiabank Patio on West Street.
