What could be more exciting than swim with manatees? We've listed our favorite places and ways to interact with these incredible creatures.
A wildlife refuge with crystal clear water, Three Sisters Springs is a stunning spot to snorkel and hike. As you delve beneath the water's surface, keep your eyes open to glimpse manatees and other aquatic wildlife. These gentle giants happily take refuge in the area's warm waters.
Three Sisters Springs has 1.5 miles of nature trails that afford views of Magnolia Springs, Kings Bay, and Lake Crystal. The scenic sights create a perfect vista for your next social media post, especially if you can capture wildlife too. Cars aren't allowed, but there is a trolley tour that can carry you from the visitor center to the boardwalk.
You can experience another aquatic adventure at River Ventures Manatee Tour Center. This award-winning tour company offers an array of options with something for everyone.
For example, you can head with the group to King's Bay Wildlife Refuge. Here, you can dive in with the manatees or paddle above them on a kayak, stopping for a swim if you so desire. And if you prefer more creature comforts, take a private cruise with the manatees on a heated pontoon or houseboat.
