Day 1
The historic feel of Cape May is felt throughout the town from the Victorian style homes to the Washington Street Mall square. This town square is known as America's original seaside resort with historic homes, unique boutiques, eateries, and more. Cape May also has a fantastic variety of sipping spots. Whether you start your day at the beach or end it there – the Cape May shoreline is over 2.5 miles long with fine, white-sand beaches. This is the perfect family friendly destination to sit and enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Public restrooms, shops and restaurants are located near most beaches.
Day 2
The Cape May Lighthouse is a historic, operating landmark in New Jersey's Cape May Point State Park. You can join tours, take in the state's maritime legacy and enjoy spectacular views from the top of its 199 steps.
You'll want to spend some fun in the sun at the famous boardwalk and beaches of the Wildwoods. This area boasts five miles of white sand beaches and stunning views off the Jersey Shore. The world-class boardwalk spans 38 blocks and offers fun rides, water parks, unique stores, amazing dining options, and entertaining nightlife.
Day 3 or 4
Plan an outing during your visit to the Cape May County Park & Zoo. Situated across 85 acres of lush country gardens, this popular attraction houses more than 550 animals that include about 250 species. After that you'll want to travel back in time at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum. This historic attraction is located inside an authentic World War II hanger and teaches guests about the country's aviation and military history. During your visit, you can experience hands-on exhibits, as well as fun activities and events.
