Kumquat Festival

Dade City's Kumquat Festival is a charming Florida event. The region is known as the "Kumquat Capital of the World" and draws over 40,000 visitors annually for a festival celebrating the citrus fruit. With arts and crafts, an antique car show, and fresh-from-the-farm produce, the Kumquat Festival is an excellent event to experience.

Giraffe Ranch

Perhaps the name is misleading, as Giraffe Ranch features far more than giraffes. Here, you can experience a safari by truck, Segway, or camel ride. As you head through this conservation ranch, you'll encounter ostrich, antelope, zebras, hippos, warthogs, rhinos, and many more creatures!

Withlacoochee State Trail

One of Florida's longest paved trails, the Withlacoochee State Trail is a biker's dream. It stretches 46 miles through rural towns between Citrus Springs and Dade City. Bring your bike, hop on, and ride to your heart's content!

Upper and Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserves

Some of the best things to do in Zephyrhills are in the great outdoors. The Upper Hillsborough Preserve, just outside city limits, offers great fishing, plus equestrian and hiking trails. Further south, the Lower Hillsborough Wilderness Preserve features 13 miles of the Hillsborough River and Hillsborough River State Park.
