1. Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

Toronto, Ontario

Situated in downtown Toronto, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is home to more than 16,000 aquatic creatures. In fact, this attraction is known for being North America's longest underwater viewing tunnel, and gets you up close to aquatic creatures like sharks, stingrays, and horseshoe crabs.

2. Birch Aquarium at Scripps

La Jolla, California

California is home to many aquariums, but one of the best is the Birch Aquarium at Scripps. This exploration center is part of UC San Diego and is perched on a hilltop offering guests breathtaking views overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In addition to traditional sea creatures like sharks and fish, you'll also find live coral, seahorses, seadragons and much more.
