Dame Edna Brings Her Comedy Farce to Palm Desert

The hilarious comedy routine of Dame Edna is coming to Palm Desert for six performances. The Australian comedian Barry Humphries has showcased his Dame Edna alter-ego for years on stage, receiving a Tony Award, and on his/her own TV series in the 1980's. The "octogenarian drag raconteur" with the size nine heels, diamante glasses and lavender wig, throws out comedy barbs with "acidic wit." Don't miss this hilarious take-no-prisoners-comedy and goofy dancehall numbers from the international busybody.

The previous tour in 2009 had sold-out shows at the McCallum Theater. She's back in Palm Desert for Dame Edna's Glorious Good-by: The Farewell Tour. Indian Wells St. Patricks Day Party

Tuesday, March 17th is the day we put on our green and celebrate the Irish in each of us. Get your green beads, buttons, and Shamrock green clothes out of mothballs as St. Patrick's Day begins with happy hour from 5-6 p.m. The dinner and dance begin at 6 p.m. and we invite all to come out and dance a jig, or whatever suits you.
