The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo is a touring Black rodeo that celebrates the legacy of legendary cowboy Bill Pickett and showcases African American and multicultural rodeo athletes in events such as bull riding, bronc riding, roping, and steer wrestling. It takes place at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth’s Stockyards National Historic District and highlights a historically underserved tradition within American rodeo while offering family-friendly Western entertainment.
