Sports equipment will be in a box on the Field by the Pavilion. This equipment belongs to the Activities program; have fun with it and return it to the box when done.

Calling all salad lovers!! Bring a bag or container with you to harvest the fresh greens growing in the Driftwood Garden. Scissors will be available. Our raised beds are filled and ready to harvest: Boston lettuces, Red Sails Lettuces, many colorful varieties of endive lettuces, kale, spinach and herbs such as parsley, mint, chives, oregano, rosemary, thyme, and lemon thyme. Heather will be in the Garden to help during this time but if you would like to harvest at other times, the Garden is always open and our cold weather crops are ready for the picking. (Except for the peas- they are still climbing and curling up the stakes.) Experiment with different flavors. Adding mint and lemon thyme to your salad boosts flavor and nutritional value! Try rinsing the veggies and herbs in a water bath with a Tablespoon of vinegar. It helps clean and freshen your salad greens.

Smoker and Adel's BBQ & the crew are back for a pop-up visit and perfect timing for Taste of Sun Retreats Sea Isle. Big thanks to Rob & Adel for choosing SRSI when they had an unexpected opening in their rockin' schedule. Come on out for the BBQ+++ and wander over to the garden to harvest salad greens.

The Sharing Shed has a free library of books games, puzzles and coloring supplies to borrow.Now featuring a newly donated DVD collection to add to our growing Community Library. Also in the Sharing Shed- a hand pump to blow up basketballs, soccer ball, etc. There is a first aid kit on the shelf if needed and a trash can under it.
