Florida Attractions Near Chiefland
Southern Leisure is our first outdoor destination in Chiefland. There's plenty to do in the area, starting at Manatee Springs State Park. We recommend strolling the boardwalk and looking for the sea cows, as they're locally known, in winter.
Another great day trip awaits 30 miles south at Cedar Key. This tiny fishing village is unlike anywhere else in Florida. Our suggestions? Learn the history at Cedar Key Museum State Park, then finish the day with a dockside dinner at Steamers.
