Accommodations

Traditionalists will be happy to enjoy rustic tent sites near the sandy beaches. And for those with RVs, there are plenty of spots available. Depending on your preference, you can stay under the trees or by the shore. In any site, you'll enjoy full hookups for added convenience.

Not a camper? New Point's vacation rentals may be perfect for you. A wide variety of seaside cottages have the conveniences of home. Additionally, they can sleep up to six people, making them perfect for groups. Just be sure to check with the resort to see what's included and what you should pack.

Local Attractions

Featuring a small town feel, Mathews is home to New Point Comfort Lighthouse, Deltaville Maritime Museum, and various parks. The Village Blacksmith, a few miles away in Gloucester, is another popular attraction.

If you're willing to head a little further, Yorktown is full of wonderful sights. In this historic town, you can visit the American Revolution Museum and famous battlefield. Plus, the revitalized waterfront is a premier shopping and dining district.

One hour southeast is the city and attraction of Williamsburg. Though home to a growing year-round population, Williamsburg is best known for its colonial village. This entire section of the city is a living history museum, boasting an immersive experience unlike any other.
